MISSING BEAT SERIES

Discussions with the author revealed a love of 70s sci-fi, and a plan for three books.

This inspired me to develop a simple and stylised poster-style design. Mindful of the series aspect I specified a unique highlight colour for each cover. 

To date the design has been successfully applied to two of the planned three books, plus a variant short story. The third book in this compelling series is almost completed.

We know we shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Yet our first impression often acts as an automatic and non-conscious trigger that shapes our view of the rest of the experience. So getting it right is vitally important to the success of your offer. Literally in the case of a book, but also in choosing your brand – it has to shine out truthfully.
